Last weekend, we were invited to take our Kenne Bell 4.9l 1500 HP Demon to the awesome LUCAS OIL sponsored BBQ at their facility in Corona. Many ultra high HP cars there! Among them were the Tom Bogner Kenne Bell Supercharged 800+HP 2017 Mustang GT and George Poteet and Ron Main’s 451.933 mph land speed record breaking Speed Demon with engine built by Kenny Duttweiler. Kenny was also present who I haven’t seen in 20 years! Good times! Steve Hamilton was there with his Tapitio Top Fuel Dragster and the famous 300 mph LUCAS Jet car were there just to name a few. Too many to list! There were even a few nostalgia funny cars and dragsters there doing a cacklefest!
Ricardo and Gonzalo Topete, owners of GTR High Performance were there too and brought out their rides. Melissa Repreza’s immaculate Kenne Bell Superchargers black 2006 Mustang GT was also on hand, built by GTR and featured in an article in Ford Muscle.
